The Enshittification of Netflix

Netflix shifted from a single low-cost ad-free subscription toward a tiered model with repeated price increases, an ad-supported plan, and restrictions on account sharing. Between 2016 and 2025 it raised U.S. prices at least five times, removed its cheapest ad-free plan, and began charging for out-of-household account use.
